I’m Ryan Blank, a History and Politics Teacher in London. I strive to make a lasting impact in the lives of my students by channelling my passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young minds into delivering well-resourced, well-paced, pupil-focussed, and specialist-guided lessons.

My experience in education has helped me to hone a diverse range of skills that include teaching, lecturing, mentoring, and resource and curriculum development. I trained as a teacher at the University of Oxford where I developed my teaching craft to transmit my knowledge of the historical and political landscape. Since then, I have had the privilege of teaching in both the State and Independent sectors, gaining valuable experience and working with really lovely young people.

Beyond the classroom, I indulge in exploring the countryside, immersing myself in the wonders of castles, cathedrals, and ruins. These adventures fuel my imagination and help me bring history to life for my students. Additionally, my love for knowledge extends to the pages of historical fiction and fantasy novels, as I believe that storytelling is a powerful tool for engaging young minds and sparking curiosity.

As an educator, mentor, historian, and policy wonk, I am deeply invested in the world of education and its impact on society. I am passionate about creating innovative learning environments, promoting a deeper engagement with historical narratives and political traditions, and equipping students with the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate the complexities of history and politics.
